🏂 Why can’t North American Ski Resorts get Apres Ski right?

⁉️ 🍴 Why can't North American ski resorts do mid-mountain dining and #ApresSki righ? 🇺🇸 🎿 🏔️

🇫🇷 🏂 I just came back from an incredible snowboarding trip to #Meribel & #Courchevel in the #TroisVallees region of the French Alps.

🍽️ 🍷 What a joy to see beautifully decorated tables with real glassware, porcelain plates and silverware that invite you to stretch your feet after a long day on the slopes.

🦞 At L'ALPAGE, a Michelin-rated high altitude French restaurant in Les Menuires, an elegantly dressed waiter courteously greets the fatigues skiers and snowboarders to offer local French delicacies.

🇺🇸 Meanwhile, the majority of US resorts are owned by big corporations, namely #Epic and #Ikon, that prioritize revenue and quantity over a unique experience and quality.

Dining options options with self-service counter walk-up style are often limited to:

1. 🍔 🌭 🍟  Hamburger/ Hotdogs & fries

2. 🍗 🍟 Chicken Tenders & Fries

3. 🍕 Pizza

4. 🥘 Chili con Carne

... and are served on plastic or paper plates.

The cost of it during main season for a single same day pass?

🇫🇷 EUR 79

🇺🇸 USD 275
